Raise your hand if you remember going to the library and shuffling through the card catalog to access not-so-secret codes leading to research information. Keep your hand up if you miss that. The worst was when one card led to another, and another. Then there was the toppling book stack from which you jotted not so random and maybe not so useful info bits into your notebook. I recently stumbled upon a woman teaching simple guitar chords and strumming techniques and bingo, my quest for a teacher is satisfied. In a matter of moments, she illustrated the simplicity of music creation and enjoyment that no book could have revealed. That learning then multiplied when I picked up my guitar and played along. The Information Highway is at hand, always and ever. Magic happens when we then go and DO. Read more on Wednesday’s Substack (free) post here.
