Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. One of the many things for which I am thankful is the community that reads, follows, subscribes, and comments on this blog. I write it for the pure of joy of putting thoughts on a page, exploring my own wanderings down an imaginary intellectual, mental or spiritual path. Writers write to share their thoughts. To create. To add beauty or understanding or entertainment to their world. The greatest gift we can give writers in return is reading those words. Writers never know the multitude of unknown eyes resting on their creations. Writing is a lonely business. Even when works are published there is very little reward (including monetary). Why do we do it? Because we must. I must. Or I would be curled in my reading chair day and night, or worse, curled in a ball in the corner of the room. So, thank you for reading, all of you, not just those who let me know they are out there. I dare to create this thing. I hope you will continue to be encouraged or edified by my words.
