Write it Down…

I had a great blog post idea last night, at the cusp of slumber. I was perfectly comfortable, did not want to move, so I repeated the idea in my head to brand it on the memory part of my brain. “You WILL forget,” was a warning from some deep inner voice. Wisdom, no doubt. Not this time, said my ego who thinks I am a super rememberer of all things important. So I repeated…what was it again? Did it have to do with buttons? Or half of something? I need it next to my bed for the next flash of inspiration that hits just before I drop off to sleep. I’ll watch my language and honor inspiration. I’ll write it down. I won’t forget.
