More to the Story…

Reading is a great joy. Give me a stack of books, a comfy chair, and hot coffee and I’m happy. It’s a bonus activity that I schedule time for unless extenuating circumstances overtake my week. I appreciate the expertise shared by authors of non-fiction books and I wonder at the imagination of fiction writers. Lately, I’ve been thinking about what lies beneath, mostly because I am on my own version of a writing journey. Just when I thought the final destination was around the next bend, another turn shows up. It reminds of the bear going over the mountain. That song never ends and I’m wondering if the pursuit of publishing will. The answer of course, is no, unless I stop writing. Every author has traveled their own path and experienced years of work, moments of doubt, trials, tribulations, tears … I could go on and on. I hope your days are filled with good books. If you ever meet one of the authors, be sure to tell them thanks for adding joy, humor, knowledge or just plain, good fun to your world.

Quote of the Week…

“A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is a mirror.” Ken Keyes, Jr. 1921-1995
