Today is a Boom Boom Day. Many moving pieces and parts will fit together in a perfect ballet of be there, prepare for this, don’t forget, smile, greet, learn and travel to and fro. At least that’s the plan. I have the honor of hosting Best Selling Author Zibby Owens at a local book event. It will be a joyful celebration but only because months of gathering, asking for help, planning, and making adjustments created the success. You can’t just hop into a boom boom day. First, you have an idea, or you say yes to an opportunity. Then you must from day one dream in your sleep, think in your car, strategize in the shower and most importantly engage the support and help from others. Teams of friends have coordinated the bookmarks, swag bags, refreshments, hospitality and on and on. I love boom boom days, but only when and if and because I practice daily rhythms of smaller beats, creating joy and not chaos. Without the small steps of preparation, the day may become a disaster, BOOM! What are you doing today to plan for a Boom Boom Day in your future?
