What time in your life you would declare the learning years? Personally, this present moment is deeply rooted in gaining new skills. Granted, without formal schooling and real lessons, these years would be muddled confusion. Decades of formal classes, managing life in general and reading shelves of books that educated, entertained and inspired, have prepared me for these current master classes (formal or not).
The practice of lifelong learning means to never be bored. To always have stacks of books next to your reading chair, even if that stack pokes a finger of urgency at your psyche. There is time. Every page adds joy or knowledge. Double that joy when the learning is applied to one area in a deep dive. Here’s to the learning years. May they be right here and right now and may they continue your whole life long.
