Wandering in the Writing World

This week I am continuing my journey of writing, revising and researching publishing options. Although I was not selected to try out for the pilot episode of America’s Next Great Author (see earlier post on the Wandering page), I have been in contact with the creators and heard some encouraging feedback. Plus it was tons of fun to put the pitch for novel #2 on paper and video (thanks to my neighbor Crystal for all her help with that). BTW, I am recommending Houston as a city for ANGA to visit during the taping of their show. If they do, you’d better believe I will be in line to try out once more! Some might see this as a step back, and although I admit I had a tiny pity party when I got the very courteous rejection note, but in the world of sharing the written word with your waiting public, every step back is an opportunity to move forward. The number one word I hear from those in the know is PERSEVERE! And so, onward with enthusiasm and joy!
